You don’t have to go all the way to the West for New York City’s Central Park because Songdo International City’s Central Park will give the New York vibe to you. The centerpiece of Songdo IBD’s green space plan, the Songdo Central Park is a public park inspired by New York City’s Central Park and is the center of Korea’s first international city (Songdo) covering 41 hectares and almost 10% of Songdo IBD’s total area. But what makes Songdo Central Park a must-see destination in Incheon? It is a green paraside seated among large buildings and skyscrapers. A nice weekend destination to those living in the metropolitan area, and wanted to chill. It displays interesting and futuristic sculptures and artworks featuring the neo-futuristic metallic architecture of the Tri-bowl, which is everybody’s favorite photography subject. It paved its way to Pop Culture as it became a filming location to some of the iconic scenes of the legendary Gangnam Style by Psy’s music video. Visitors can enjoy a water taxi ride on their man-made waterway, take a nice stroll at their walking promenades and various themed meadows.
