Great Experience & Wonderful Guide We had an amazing experience in our tour around S. Korea with This is Korea Tours. We travelled around the country for 2.5 weeks with them. Our guide, Joe, was wonderful. He was so kind, patient and accommodating. His vehicle was super comfortable and spacious. He always made sure that we were enjoying ourselves and allowed us to make slight adjustments to the itinerary as needed. The country is beautiful, and touring it with a great local guide made it even better. Joe was so helpful in translating for us and taking us to local places to eat, etc. I would highly recommend this tour company and specifically our driver/guide, Joe.

Great experience in Suwon! My sister and I traveled to Korea in August during the heatwave and traveled with Ms. Yuni to Suwon for a day trip. Despite the heat, Yuni took great care of us and made sure we were able to see the historic sights while still staying cool and healthy!

DMZ with Joe Joe is our guide and we had a great time with him on the DMZ tour. He prepped us well for the tour with detailed briefing and an also shared his personal experiences in the army as well family history with us, which makes the tour a unique one indeed! Joe also weht the extra mile by taking care of us by showing my kids with gifts and candies. Lovely guy and great guide!

Awesome custom Korean tour Was recommended highly by a south Korea Facebook group. Everything was done through WhatsApp. Last minute planning and they were awesome in changing things around and adding things like a Korean baseball game! We happened to be there the same day, Jensen Whang was there. Late drops offs, early pickups or late pickups they had accommodating drivers and driver/guides Who were knowledgeable about the economics, social, and historical background of the places. Went and saw the DMZ, all the popular tourists places in Busan and Seoul. We were able to lengthen or shorten certain activities on the spot. Would highly recommend!

Excellent private tour in Seoul He was an excellent tour guide, very punctual, with extensive knowledge about all the local sites, and Korean history in general. He was always very enthusiastic, full of energy throughout the tours. He completed everything what was in the itinerary, never cut anything short. He was a very good driver, always obeying the speed limit and traffic laws, keeping us safe throughout the tour. His car was spotless. Communications with him before and in between the tours via WhatsApp were perfect, he always replied to our messages within minutes. He was also extremely generous, bought us gifts at the DMZ gift shop and gifts for our K pop loving granddaughter. He took us to a Korean homestyle cooking place where we had very tasty home cooked lunch. As for the company “this is Korea”, they were fantastic throughout the preparation time when I first contacted them asking them to fill up our days in Korea with exciting and meaningful programs. They were fully open to my requests and created a custom made itinerary for Seoul, Bushan and Jeju Island. They also sent me a fantastic color brochure with the exact sites we were going to see, then detailed descriptions as to why those sites were interesting. They also included several high resolution photographs of the sites.

Excellent private tour in JeJu Island Sally was very professional and very efficient. As a Jeju native she gave us a broad outline of the island’s geography, culture and everyday life. She took us to the amazing natural sites and gave us a tour of the Osulloc tea museum. We enjoyed several beaches and the legendary women’s diving attraction. She kindly gifted my wife with a set of Korean beauty masks at the Innisfree center. She took us to great restaurants and checked on us if we were ok at nights back at the hotel. Communications with her before and in between the tours via WhatsApp were perfect, she always replied to our messages within minutes. As for the company “this is Korea”, they were fantastic throughout the preparation time when I first contacted them asking them to fill up our days in Korea with exciting and meaningful programs. Excellent private tour in Busan Very professional in her manners and appearance. It was obvious that she takes her tour guide job very seriously. Her extensive knowledge of the Korean dynasties, Confucianism and Buddhism was impressive, we learnt a lot from her. She had a good sense of humor and gave us a good snapshot of modern Korean life as well. Made every effort to find restaurants that we liked. Her English vocabulary was excellent. Great time My visit was 4 hours long. There was a lot of walking but our guide was happy to stop whenever we felt tired. It was overall a very worth it experience as we were also given the history of the place. I would absolutely go again if I had the chance!

South Korea.. a destination not to be missed! My wife and I took a customised Private tour of South Korea and Je Ju. We are seniors ( 77 and 80 yo ) and are most impressed with This is Korea. It’s highly professional , and the punctuality of the guides and transfer drivers they arranged for us stood out , as did the final itinerary we planned together. Our guides ( 3 over the 11 day tour) gave very complete explanations in English for each site and region we visited . They were also very flexible allowing several modifications to our itinerary when we all agreed it seemed sensible to do so. Our guide (Miss Ka ) for 4 days ( Seoul and Pyeongchang to Gyeongju deserves praise for the excellence of her guiding. She consistently displayed enthusiasm, knowledge, and thoughtfulness throughout our 4 days together . We are a very well travelled couple, always taking private tours and we rate Miss Ka as providing one of our top 5 guiding experiences; world wide

Tour to DMZ We had an amazing tour with Kory to the DMZ. He was knowledgeable, answered all our questions, and went out of his way to accommodate our requests. Would definitely recommend Kory.

Yuni is a GREAT Guide Yuni was an incredible guide. She struck the perfect balance of explaining things as necessary and letting us rest on the bus. We were with her all day. Visiting the DMZ was an incredible experience.

DMZ tour Yuni was phenomenal. Everything was timed perfectly and all we were given plenty of information. The day has a nice flow to it and I would definitely recommend going with Yuni!

We were lucky to have Lucy for two days as our tour guide in Busan. She was outstanding and shared her knowledge of Busan and its amazing culture. She really connected with our family and was able to engage with my daughters, ages 5 and 7. We had our best meals and desserts with her! Even though we were challenged with the weather, Lucy made sure we had a memorable experience! Thank you, Lucy!

John made our trip such a memorable experience! He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed everything Korea had to offer. John picked us up at our hotel and had a well-planned day set out for us, with plenty of stops for food, interesting and notable places, and suggestions for that were interesting for us and for our teenage sons. He engaged each one of us and made every effort to connect amicably, showing genuine interest and encouraged us to try new foods. He is knowledgable, respectful, and friendly and all of those qualities make him an excellent our guide and a wonderful representative of seoul to make tourists feel welcome.
