South Korea.. a destination not to be missed! My wife and I took a customised Private tour of South Korea and Je Ju. We are seniors ( 77 and 80 yo ) and are most impressed with This is Korea. It’s highly professional , and the punctuality of the guides and transfer drivers they arranged for us stood out , as did the final itinerary we planned together. Our guides ( 3 over the 11 day tour) gave very complete explanations in English for each site and region we visited . They were also very flexible allowing several modifications to our itinerary when we all agreed it seemed sensible to do so. Our guide (Miss Ka ) for 4 days ( Seoul and Pyeongchang to Gyeongju deserves praise for the excellence of her guiding. She consistently displayed enthusiasm, knowledge, and thoughtfulness throughout our 4 days together . We are a very well travelled couple, always taking private tours and we rate Miss Ka as providing one of our top 5 guiding experiences; world wide

Tour to DMZ We had an amazing tour with Kory to the DMZ. He was knowledgeable, answered all our questions, and went out of his way to accommodate our requests. Would definitely recommend Kory.

Yuni is a GREAT Guide Yuni was an incredible guide. She struck the perfect balance of explaining things as necessary and letting us rest on the bus. We were with her all day. Visiting the DMZ was an incredible experience.

DMZ tour Yuni was phenomenal. Everything was timed perfectly and all we were given plenty of information. The day has a nice flow to it and I would definitely recommend going with Yuni!

Since it was a private tour for the 6 people in our party, she was so flexible in what we wanted to see and how long we wanted to stay at each place. An Absolute Dream Trip Across Korea – Unmatched Service & Value! We recently gone to Korea from 4th to 24th may, 2026. We were 3 kids and 6 adults. We are pure vegetarian. We had covered seoul, busan and jeju. We were very satisfied with all services. The planning process was smooth. The coordination was effortless, with communication across both WhatsApp and email. I had not call any agents. They sent all the details through WhatsApp. Every questions we had was answered instantly, and they took care food preferences and logistics for a big group with young children. Our guides were excellent. Jeju guide Cindy require special mention. The tour was very affordable. Highly recommend..

This is Korea tour, best personal guide, Mr Jo Mr Jo, was great, he knew all the local places, he was very polite and professional and respectful. Gave options and provides best service. We were also impressed with his English language. He Also helped with suggestions we had with shopping and answered many Korean History answers. Mr Jo was a great tour guide.

Best way to see the palaces! A wonderful experience in Seoul! We got to do everything and see everything while being informed. Needless to say we highly recommend.

Joe was the Best! Thanks for a memorable experience! Joe was excellent! He knew where all the best spots were, ie: where to sit/stand for the best views, recommendations for food (so good & affordable too) among other suggestions that made our trip memorable. He gave us advice on how to maximize the best experience for us. Not to mention Joe took some of the best photos for us as a family too! He really paid attention to the things we liked and helped accommodate that for us. He really went above and beyond our expectations. Not to mention a BTS book he helped us get! He was so knowledge about Korea and fun to be around. We highly recommend Joe! We would book with him again!

I will come back! I had booked day trips to Busan, the DMZ and Jeju. Everything was perfect. Bada Cho in Busan, in particular, was a first-class tour guide who drove me around all day and explained so much, all in perfect English. The communication with James and Bruce from Thisiskorea via email before the trip was excellent; I always received reliable replies. They were both very patient with me. Everything was organised, which made my trip to South Korea so much easier. If you like to explore countries on your own and want to put together your own itinerary, this is the place for you. Did a two day tour of Seoul. Our guide Gwany Hong was excellent. Knew Seoul and its history. Our second day was a BTS tour which was my favorite. He gave great recommendations for food and shopping. We were able to see all the major highlights of the city. Plan on returning to Seoul and will definitely book our same guide. 5 Stars!!!!!

Our tour guide, John, was the best! Not only did he share so many facts about Korean culture, he was also very accommodating to us. My aunts liked to joke around and ask many questions, and he hopped along with them (us) and was very patient too! Our experience in our dream country destination became extra fun and memorable Thank you, John the Great! Kamsahamnidaaa!

Lucy was an amazing guide for our time in Busan! She is very courteous and treated us like her own family. Extremely knowledgeable about the places we visited! When I visit Busan again, I am definitely looking forward to visiting more places with Lucy! Highly recommend her if she is available to show you around!

John picked us up at our hotel and had a well-planned day set out for us, with plenty of stops for food, interesting and notable places, and suggestions for that were interesting for us and for our teenage sons. He engaged each one of us and made every effort to connect amicably, showing genuine interest and encouraged us to try new foods. He is knowledgable, respectful, and friendly and all of those qualities make him an excellent our guide and a wonderful representative of seoul to make tourists feel welcome. Having john as our private tour guide for the day was the perfect way to see the city and access things we would never otherwise have known to see, try, or do. Thank you JOHN!!!
