Lively and great vibes. There was a pop up market in the beginning of Sep. 2023 when I visited with local artisans’ arts and crafts items. If you’re going to the racoon Cafe make up some time for waiting or book in advance as it’s busy.
Insadong Street is a fantastic place to shop. They offer a wide variety of items, including clothing, Korean pishmaniye (desserts), accessories, home decor, kinetic art products, and more! We absolutely loved it. 😍
Busy busy even on public holidays. Starting from around lunch time is when this place really gets busy. Many cute handcraft item shops. Definitely need to go check this place out.
Its a little bit crowded but its good for looking a traditional culture of koreans
I love Insadong! As a foreigner in South Korea, this is my favorite place to start any vacation because of the easy access to so many iconic temples, palaces, and other places of interest. Not only that, but Insadong is filled with amazing restaurants and gift stores.
If you decide to stay at a hotel near Insadong street, no matter what you do during the day, you’ll always return to a place with amazing food and lots of entertainment.
My favorite in Seoul. Love to walk around the street to enjoy the cosy but bustling atmosphere. Ssamziegil Shopping Complex is amazing with beautifully decorated walls and unique souvenirs.
Lot of different kind of shops with (traditional) clothes, (traditional) (street) food and souvenirs.
lot of tourist visit this place, have many cafe and small shop.
Very enjoyable and lots of fun things regarding on arts and crafts and photography. Better not to rush if coming here. Walk slowly and enjoy the culture experience.
Make sure if you arrive at this street, go along from one end to one end. I was here 4-5times only going towards Ssamgizil- not knowing the other way has the only Starbucks that has Korea language.
During lunch time and after work hours- it’ll be packed but love love there are buskers around the area.
a lot of knicks knacks here, a Line Friends statue which I didn’t know there’s a shop inside.
Really enjoy the time here.
Totally worth the visit has loads of nice little shops and artisan markets, one had a rooftop garden which was so nice. Avoid the haribo shop however as very small and overpriced. One of the nicest places we’ve been to in Seoul and quieter than some of the bigger tourist streets.
when i heard insa dong first come to mind is the meaning for me insa means greetings and dong means community. So when i visit insadong I amaze the the street full of aunthentic souviners fashion clothes summer hats
It was quite honestly one of our favourite places in Seoul as this street was so rich in culture. Good place to get souvenirs also and there is a mall worth visiting as well 🙂
INSA-DONG STREET – great ambience, so many quaint shops, not enough time. I have to make room for all my shoppings & will have to come back to Seoul again. Unique, quirky & specialty shops & also to mention Ssamziegil Shopping Complex, where you can buy/shop souvenirs, handicrafts, tea sets, hanbok, arts & visit antique shops, boutique shops, Kimchi Museum, family run restaurants, old tea houses, meet iconic characters etc.
Good place to go if you want to look for cultural souvenirs. You can buy a dojang here and some traditional items as well.
One of the best street to visit, food to souvenirs, highly recommended for visitors, explore the street so many beautiful hanoK style restaurant
The best street in Seoul to buy gift to take home, there are a lot of shops where you can find surely any gift you need!
Lively vibes. Good for shopping & many eateries too but do take note that many restaurants close from 3-5pm for a short break. Take a stroll & enjoy the street performances.
Insadong Street is a great place for shopping and snacking. There are tons of art shops, street performers, and tourists here, and it can be a bit crowded. But you can find some great gifts, clothes, and artwork here. It’s easy to navigate around, and it has a hip, cool vibe. I really enjoy the dragon bread candy!
Must visit to buy souvenirs. Whole Street has lot of good stores. And also good museums and art galleries. Do do visit
Insadong Street has a very cool vibe with some old hanok villages interwoven through the main street. Plenty of good food and old traditional places to see
