A good place to go after a long stroll at Hanrim Park, and guaranteed as the most romantic place to watch a natural exhibition which we all loved: the view of the sunset contrasting with the pink and orange skies, Hyeopjae Beach located just on the western side of Hanrim Park (and is a part of it) is of high recommendation. Hyeopjae Beach boasts of its fine white sand which is the result of massive amount of crushed seashells mixing with the sand that stretches for about 20 meters, giving the sand a fancy white color.
What makes the area the best find is the existence of scattered forests just around its proximity, making the visitors feel closer to Nature. In these evergreen groves, there are plenty of facilities and campgrounds for visitors to use.
The long seashore stretches for 9 km and has silvery-white seawater that is 1.2 meters deep.
Just off the beach is Biyangdo Island, which view adds up to the beautiful scenery.
The seashore to the southwest of Hyeopjae Beach connects to another beach called Geumreung Beach, and both beaches combined are also called Hyeopjae Beach. From any beach on Jejudo Island, you can always see Mt. Hallasan which is known as a great place for a relaxing family vacation.
