Great vibes, delicious food, beautiful people. It’s a nice place to come for some street food. Lots of shopping areas. Bring cash to make life easier for yourself. Come with an empty stomach if you’re planning to eat or try a lot of food. The beef is highly recommend.
Myeongdong is an amazing place….it’s a food lovers paradise…..many little eateries are selling different types if meat ….such as beef pork, chicken, squid, scallops, octopus….potato chains, fruits, juices ice creams and many more types of food. But the place is very clean and food is prepared hygienically….The earrings shop BLING BOX needs a special mention with thousands of variety of earrings, clutches, key rings. Cosmetic brands like Tony Moly, Holika Holika , Etude House , Innisfree are very good and very cheap.
I’m not scared of Corona ❗, most people don’t wear masks. Myeong-dong is so crowded that I can’t walk.
A very nice street to wander through with many nice shops. There are also many stalls with different food and drinks, and there is a nice and cozy atmosphere. It can be very busy there, but we found it pleasant. Really worth going here!

Lively street with lots of street food stands and lined with numerous stores for shopping enthusiasts.
Lots of stores (souvenirs, beauty, clothes, restaurants, banks, photobooths, etc.) and small street food vendors. Super touristy but really fell in love with this street (our hotel was 1 minute away) and this neighborhood.

This is a place you can come to without having to do any homework. It is very lively and easy to visit. Myeongdong dumplings are delicious and the fairy snow soup is delicious.
I stayed at Myeongdong during my trip in Korea. Strolled around everyday and so much to see, you’ll never get bored.
It’s good, so you should definitely go and see. If you are here to buy souvenirs and gifts keep in mind there is no point looking for better prices since pretty much all the prices are the same throughout the whole area. If you find something you like get it there and continue searching for other things.
Myeongdong Streets are great! This place offers a lot. Whoever loves kpop, streetfood, cosmetics, shopping or wandering the streets, this is the right place for you! There are plenty of shops and booths of the mentioned categories. During peek touristic seasons, this streets are filled with life from afternoon, espacially on weekends.
I also have been here once off holiday season. The amount of food booths small and it is not so crowded.
You can also find good restaurants and cafés here.
It’s great for shopping, eating, and drinking! There are a lot of things to do and the transportation is convenient. I will stay here next time👍
First timer here, but it was amazing, the street was amazing, the food was great even tho it’s a lil bit pricey, but myeongdong deserves to be in your bucket list!
You will get food, vibes, shopping time and sometimes some people who preach on the street to promote their church..
A place you have to visit while in Seoul! Come to this walking street and try all the street food. 🙂
