Insadong Street Seoul

Insadong is a great place to browse and shop for traditional goods. There are all kinds of goods that can be purchased at Insa-dong, such as; ceramics, antique furniture, hanji paper, hanbok, etc. Insadong is also filled with small back alleys and streets where you can find great restaurants, teahouses, and cafes. Insadong is also home to over 100 art galleries that traditional Korean painting and sculptures. Every Saturday from 2:00pm to 10:00pm and Sunday from 10:00am to 10:pm, the main street is blocked off to create a cultural space. Merchants set up booths to sell traditional good and food. There are also traditional performances. When taking a tour in Seoul, be sure to stop by Insadong, especially of you are interested in traditional goods and art.
