Wonderful place to visit. It is the best place to observe the maple leaf in which I visited on November 6 last year.
Come here in autumn to see yellow leaves, red leaves are out of sauce, super super beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
Views from Bulchulbong Peak on a cloudy day
Breathtaking view. I was lucky enough to see the maple leaves blossom in Naejangsan few years ago. My friend and I took a day trip from Seoul to the national park. Even locals came here for hiking and sightseeing. A gentle reminder to wear a light warm jacket and bring water, it probably takes 3-4 hours to get to the temple from the entrance.
Beautiful natural creature especially in autumn season. See turning-Red tree around Uhwajeong pavillion with bright blue color roof.
Recommend to be here around mid November.
Very beautiful!
Scenic, and at times, stunning place. The mountains aren’t that tall or challenging as far as hikes go, and the trails leading to the mountains aren’t that noteworthy, but boy are they beautiful. The autumn foliage here is phenomenal, one of the best spots in Korea to see the changing leaves.
Of course, that means massive crowds, especially on weekends. If you can swing time off from work, do try and come here on a weekday so you won’t be here with throngs of people. Or you could just come here outside of the 3 week foliage window, but you would be missing out on some of the best fall foliage there is
Beautiful place for walking & trekking. It’s a long trip from Seoul, about 4+ hours drive but it’s worth.
Visited on 8Nov22 which was 3 days after peak foliage forecast. Quite a lot of leaves have fallen from the trees but still had quite a good number of trees with beautiful autumn foliage. I think it might be better to visit a few days before the forecasted peak foliage date of that year so that at least most of the leaves haven’t fallen.
I used to live out in Jeongeup and would go here all the time. It’s been eight years since I left and would love to go back one day to visit.
